Passion at work: finding balance without exhaustion

In a context where professional commitment is valued, it can be difficult to draw the line between passion and over-investment.

The IGLOO model, developed by occupational psychologist Karina Nielsen (University of Sheffield) and her collaborators, addresses individual and collective strategies, management practices and organizational policies for cultivating a balanced passion for work. It provides a deeper understanding of the factors that influence workplace health and promotes coordinated action to help individuals integrate, remain, and thrive in their professional environments.
