Sophie Roy-Lafleur

Sophie is Director, Talent and Culture. Passionate about professional development and talent management in the legal sphere, she is responsible for supporting professionals and students in developing their skills and achieving their professional goals. Sophie also aims to promote and implement initiatives to foster an engaged and inclusive corporate culture as well as succession planning.

A lawyer by profession, Sophie worked in labor and employment law for several years, while being actively involved in all aspects of student recruitment within a Montreal firm. She then assumed the direction of the Career Development Office of the Faculty of Law at McGill University for nearly 5 years. She thus has ten years of experience in management, communication, training and professional development.

Sophie is a member of the Quebec Bar and the Law Society of Ontario, as well as an accredited mediator in civil, commercial and labour matters. She holds a double bachelor’s degree in civil law and common law from McGill University.
