Sophie Roy-Lafleur

Sophie is the Director of Strategic Partnerships. With over 20 years of experience in customer service and more than a decade of experience in client management and business development, she excels at forming and managing strategic relationships. She is committed to supporting the firm’s long-term goals and growth ambitions, and helping it become a national leader in harassment prevention and resolution.
Throughout her career, Sophie has partnered with businesses of all sizes and sectors. She has secured funding for career development programs through meaningful connections and collaboration, and successfully developed partnerships with major organizations within the legal industry across Canada and beyond for the benefit of her clients. Her business acumen, analytical skills, and strong communication abilities have consistently driven successful outcomes.
In her current role, Sophie focuses on understanding the needs of the firm’s clients, identifying new market opportunities, and enhancing client relationship management practices. She collaborates with the CEO to develop and implement the firm’s business development strategy. This includes leading communication and marketing initiatives, participating in external events and initiatives, and managing proposals for public contracts (RFPs).
Sophie is a lawyer with extensive experience in labour and employment law and is an accredited mediator in civil, commercial, and labour matters. She is a member of the Quebec Bar as well as the Law Society of Ontario. Fluently bilingual in both English and French, Sophie holds a double bachelor’s degree in civil law and common law from McGill University.
