Sandra Palmieri

Sandra is a results-oriented lawyer with extensive experience in human rights. She is described as having excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and conducts her work with professionalism and integrity. Her respect for legal boundaries and compassion for all parties involved in misconduct complaints ensure a fair and due process.

Sandra has led a wide variety of training sessions on investigation best practices and has overseen countless misconduct complaints in both the workplace and the sports industry. She has developed a sound understanding of the investigation process and its importance for maintaining a safe and respectful environment. She adopts a holistic and trauma-informed approach to cases to ensure parties understand their rights and responsibilities. Her approach is characterized by her ability to listen, her attention to detail and her commitment to act with compassion, flexibility and transparency.

Since her admission to the Bar, Sandra has worked closely with various communities, guiding them through complex and sensitive issues such as discrimination, violence against children, arbitrary detention and forced marriages. She has pleaded at all levels of the judicial system, before numerous administrative and civil tribunals as well as the United Nations. Having worked in both public and private sectors, Sandra is committed to using her knowledge and experience to safeguard the rights of others.

Sandra earned a law degree from the University of Ottawa and is a member of the Quebec Bar.
