Mia Anhoury 
Lawyer-Investigator

She holds a bachelor’s degree in civil law and a bachelor’s degree in journalism with a minor in Spanish, Hispanic Cultures and Literatures. During her studies, Mia had the opportunity to complete an academic exchange in Spain at the University of Santiago de Compostela.

Before starting her studies in law, Mia worked as a journalist for The Montreal Gazette and CBC news, where she produced daily reportings on current affairs in Montreal. During her studies in law, Mia worked as a notarial paralegal. She was also part of Pro Bono Students of Canada. During her mandate, she was paired with the CRARR – Center for Research-Action on Race Relations, a non-profit organization that helps victims of racial discrimination.
