Marie-Christine Lauzon 
Director, Lawyer-Investigator, Mediator & CHRP

Marie-Christine serves as Director of Professional Services. In this role, she supports the investigators on her team in their professional development and in the execution of their mandates. She also regularly serves as a trainer for both her peers and clients.

Marie-Christine has developed strong expertise in workplace investigations, particularly those involving allegations of psychological harassment, including sexual harassment, discrimination, and workplace violence, as well as disciplinary or administrative matters. She also has solid experience in supporting a diverse range of clients facing complex situations involving significant legal, financial or reputational risks. She works with diligence, agility, discernment and tact, while tailoring her approach to the reality and specific needs of each organization.

Marie-Christine is an experienced lawyer who has spent over twenty years applying her expertise in labour and employment law to support a diverse range of clients. Throughout her career, she has distinguished herself through her rigour, creativity, strategic thinking, and analytical skills, helping employers create and maintain healthy and safe workplaces for all.

Before joining Latitude, Marie-Christine began her career in the legal department of a governmental organization dedicated to defending employees’ rights, then practised law at a national law firm. She subsequently held a position within a major financial institution before dedicating her career to workplace dispute prevention and resolution.

Representative Work

  • Approved investigator in the Government of Canada’s Workplace Harassment and Violence Prevention Registry of Investigators since 2025.
