Marie-Christine Lauzon 
Senior Director, Lawyer-Investigator, Certified Mediator & Arbitrator, CHRP

A seasoned lawyer, Marie-Christine Lauzon has been serving a diverse clientele in labour and employment law for more than twenty years. Acting exclusively as a neutral and impartial third party, she assists organisations with rigour and sound judgement in preventing, analysing, and resolving sensitive workplace issues.

Marie-Christine has developed a specialised practice focused on a broad range of matters relating to ethics, integrity, and institutional compliance, particularly in cases involving allegations of workplace harassment, discrimination, and violence, as well as disciplinary and administrative matters. Her expertise also encompasses issues involving compliance with standards of conduct, ethics, and integrity, including conflicts of interest, breaches of confidentiality, abuse of authority, and the improper use of organisational resources.

As Senior Director, Investigation Services, Marie-Christine provides leadership and guidance to her team of investigators in carrying out mandates that require impartiality, expertise, and diligence. Recognised for her creative, strategic, and pragmatic approach, she is frequently called upon to advise organisations or conduct high-risk investigations, particularly those involving senior executives or boards of directors, as well as matters raising complex and sensitive issues that require a high degree of specialised expertise.

Prior to joining Latitude, Marie-Christine began her career within a government legal department dedicated to protecting employees’ rights. She subsequently practised with a national law firm before joining a major financial institution. In addition to being a member of the Quebec Bar, Marie-Christine is an accredited mediator and arbitrator and a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP).
