Laurence Ferland

Laurence Ferland is Director of Professional Services. As a neutral and impartial lawyer, she intervenes in and oversees the firm’s harassment, violence and discrimination investigations.

While ensuring compliance with legal and procedural requirements, she provides ongoing support to her investigation team. She also works with organizations to implement best practices in the areas of respect for individuals, conflict prevention and management, psychological harassment, violence and discrimination in the workplace.

Before joining Latitude, she built and led a team responsible for promoting civility, preventing harassment and analysing the workplace climate within the healthcare industry. She also practised as a lawyer specializing in investigations into harassment, violence and discrimination within a federal organization.
