Adelise Lalande
Lawyer-Investigator & Mediator

Adelise Lalande is a consultant at Latitude and has several years of experience as a lawyer-investigator conducting complex investigations involving psychological harassment, sexual harassment, and discrimination. She also works on matters related to ethics and organisational integrity, including conflicts of interest, procurement and tendering processes, whistleblowing disclosures, and allegations that may undermine public confidence in institutions and their leadership.

In an effort to broaden her expertise into new areas, such as investigations involving financial fraud, corruption, and sexual exploitation in an international context, Adelise briefly left Latitude to work with UNICEF’s Office of Internal Audit and Investigations, where she supported experienced investigators in New York and Budapest. This international experience enhanced her understanding of integrity systems, accountability mechanisms, and risk management in complex environments.

During her legal studies, she worked in the litigation department of a major law firm in Toronto, where she also assisted senior lawyers with independent investigations. After completing her degree, Adelise returned to Latitude with the goal of dedicating her practice to investigations and initiatives that foster healthy, respectful, and integrity-driven workplaces.

Adelise holds a Bachelor of Civil Law and Juris Doctor from McGill University, as well as an Honours B.A. in Communication from the University of Ottawa.
