Adelise Lalande
Lawyer-Investigator & Mediator
Adelise Lalande is a Consultant at Latitude. She brings several years of experience in conducting investigations, particularly into harassment and discrimination matters. She first joined Latitude in 2020 as a law student and advanced to the role of lawyer-investigator, where she has independently led numerous investigations in both English and French, ensuring that each case is handled with efficiency, sensitivity, and the utmost professionalism. Adelise is deeply drawn to the human-facing aspect of investigative work, with a passion for understanding the nuances and perspectives that arise during complex investigations.
In pursuit of expanding her expertise to new areas, such as financial fraud, corruption, and sexual exploitation investigations in an international setting, Adelise briefly left Latitude to work with UNICEF’s Office of Internal Audit and Investigations, where she supported seasoned investigators in New York and Budapest.
During law school, she spent a summer in the litigation department of a corporate law firm in Toronto, where her work also involved supporting senior counsel on independent investigations. After graduating, Adelise chose to rejoin Latitude, valuing the team dynamic of the firm and her desire to specialize in investigations.
Adelise holds a Bachelor of Civil Law and Juris Doctor from McGill University, as well as an Honours B.A. in Communication from the University of Ottawa.
