Adelise Lalande
Lawyer-Investigator
Adelise is an Advisor and lawyer investigator at Latitude. She first worked at the firm as a summer student before returning as an articling student and now as a lawyer. She holds a joint J.D. and civil law degree from McGill University, as well as an Honours BA in Communication from the University of Ottawa.
During her legal studies, Adelise was a senior editor for the McGill Law Journal and volunteered with the Legal Information Clinic at McGill. As a research assistant, she worked with several faculty members on projects related to privacy law, artificial intelligence, human rights, and equity, diversity and inclusion. Adelise spent a summer working in Cambodia in the areas of criminal justice, gender equality, and social justice. She was also selected for and completed an intensive residential program on public policy at Stanford University. Prior to articling, Adelise summered with a national firm in Toronto.
Before law school, Adelise worked in communications for the Privy Council Office of Canada in Ottawa, at a tech start-up in London, and at a global fashion company in Amsterdam.
